Mum to Millionaire

This time last year, the alternative education provision I set up Oxford Creators had 1 mentor and 2 students.

We are now a team of 6 with an advisory board and have supported over 40 students!

It’s been one of the hardest challenges to learn how to run a non profit, manage a team, mentor vulnerable children, deal with contracts, liaise with schools, go through strict quality checks with the local authority(the list is endless!)

Dealing with this whilst my own son has been continuously failed by ‘the system’ has been tough but it’s made me more determined to help misunderstood children

In 2024 I want you to set unrealistic goals and go way out your comfort zone. You’d be amazed how much you can achieve when you allow yourself to dream big

13 years ago my life changed in so many ways I could have never imagined.

Being a single mum from day 1 has thrown many challenges in my path, struggles and adversity.

But, if I didn't have my son, I would have never

✨ Started the Mum To Millionaire podcast
✨ Met the most incredible business owners
✨ Become a hypnotherapist
✨ Set up a not for profit to help children who have been failed by the education system

My son has been out of school for nearly a year. Instead of being supported by the council and his on-roll school, we've been subjected to bullying, blamed and ignored.

Oxford Creators alternative education will launch later this year. My son has given me such a strong purpose and I will never give up on him.

This has not been an easy ride at all, we still struggle everyday BUT we will not allow others to control our destiny.

Remember, we can't control what others do to us but we can control how we respond.

Respond with love and use your anger in a positive, powerful way ❤️ (I know this is easier said than done!)

Vulnerable children are being left to suffer in silence. I have tried to fight the system to give these kids an education and keep people accountable but no one is intervening to protect them. I've gone beyond breaking point to get people in authority to listen.

I'm not going to fight anymore.

I'm now using my energy to create a not-for-profit to change the reality for these children.
