Participated the LGU City of Talisay Initiated Tree Planting Activity dated June 29, 2024 hosted by Brgy Tapul.

The e event started with a welcome message by Host Punong Barangay of Brgy. Tapul Hon. Mary Ann Nolasco and followed by the Rationale from Atty. Rudelyn Navarro, City of Talisay CENRO Designate.

The above pro environment activity was spearheaded by CSWDO, DA, SP Bacaltos Office and other SP Offices, and participated by the different sectors, LYDO, SK Federations in 22 Barangays, PNP, BJMP, BFP, TCC Students, NGO Pagtambayayong Foundation, Inc. (PFI) , and off course the Urban Poor Sectors Like the FETCUDA in the City of Talisay, Province of Cebu.

Preparasyon sa pagpahigayon sa labing unang FETCUDA MONTH 2024 gisugdan na.

Karong adlawa, June 22, 2024, Sabado, gipahigayon ang regular meeting sa mga Presidente ug Representante sa mga urban poor ug homeowners association nga nagpasilong sa Federation of Talisay Urban Dwellers, Inc. - Fetcuda , pinangulohan ni Federation President Ely Dela Cuesta ug Vice President Marlou Baron.

Sentro sa diskusyon ang pagpahigayon sa mga kalihukan sa FETCUDA MONTH nga mahitabo sa buwan sa Agosto 2024. Tumong sa maong selebrasyon ang pagpalig-on sa relasyon sa opisyales ug mga membro sa matag association.

Gipasabot usab sa mga nitambong nga 41 association Presidents/Representatives nga ang regular meeting sa mga sakop sa FETCUDA gipahigayon gawas sa FETCUDA building tungod kay dili na maigo sa maong venue ang gidaghanon sa mga sakop sa federation. Gamiton lamang ang maong building alang sa mga gagmayng meeting sama sa FETCUDA Board Meeting.

Gilauman nga makigtambayayong ang FETCUDA sa gobyerno ug ingon man sa mga pribadong institusyon sa pagapahigayon sa FETCUDA MONTH 2024.

Ang meeting sa mga membro ipahigayon karong adlawa, Sabado, April 27, 2024, adto sa Sta. Teresa de Avila Church Grounds sa Barangay Poblacion at 1:30PM, to be led by FETCUDA Vice President Marlou Baron.

Earlier today, April 21, 2024, Mr. Rolando "Lande" Artiaga our Federation of Talisay Urban Dwellers, Inc. - Fetcuda secretary and Candaya HOA Secretary and Ms. Jocelyn A. Ycong ( President, Selma Crusher HOA) are both invited to share their respective success stories of being an organization leader in front of all Youth Leaders / SK Leaders from different LGU's from Cebu City, Lapu-Lapu City, Mandaue City, Bantayan Island and from Tacloban City.

The above event was held at STG HOA led by Ms. Celyn Sabejon at Bulacao, Talisay City Cebu with the usual guidance and collaboration with the Pagtambayayong Foundation, Inc. represented by Engineer Paula " Day" Fernandez.

Such great priviledge to be a speaker mentoring young leaders of todays generation was so self fullfiling being an Organizer of our repective community association.

Lipay kaayo ang mga estudyante naminaw ug nangotana ge unsa nato pag sustain ang atong mga challenges as an organizatoon leaders. Ne sombong sila ganiha nga first time nila naka dongog ug ingon ato nga klasi nga Leadership Skills nga ne sustain sa taas nga katuigan bisan boluntaryo nga pamaagi.

Ne pa-ambit pud si Ms. Celin Sabejon, STG President sa ilang struggle ug success stories before nila na dawat ang ilang kadaugan nga naka puyo na sila sa ilang kaugalingon nga pinuy.an ang labing una nga condo type unit sa Cebu City mao ang STG HOA human sila na biktima sa Demolisyon.

Abli na ang Urban Poor Eatery by "FETCUDA Sustainable Livelihood Program Association (SLPA)".

Sa atong mga igsuon sa sektor sa Urban Poor, if ko ari mog Talisay City Hall, atong suportahan ang gamayng negosyo sa atong mga igsuong sa Kabus Dakbayan 👌🏾

Kining mga nagdumala sa negosyo kay mga pinili nga beneficiary sa Sustainable Livelihood Program sa DSWD Region 7 diin gitagaan sila og puhonan. Ang ilang makita bahinon rapud nila pinasubay sa ilang kaugalingong bylaws. They have their own President nga Sir John Rey.

Mohatag usab sila og share sa ilang ginansya ngadto Federation of Talisay Urban Dwellers, Inc. - Fetcuda isip tabang usab sa federation. So, maong manawagan ta sa tanang sakop sa federation nga mo patronize sa ilang negosyo. Mo cater sad ni silag mga special occasions, pero sugod lang usa sa ginagmayay nga kalihukan sama anang sila na ang mo supply og snacks or meals sa mga meeting or activity sa FETCUDA federation.

Nahimo ni nga negosyo pinaagi usab sa pagpaningkamot sa Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) Area Coordinator Sir Argie Guiritan. Ug kining stall sa canteen sa City Hall gihatag usab ni nga privilege sa Administration ni Aksyon Agad Mayor Samsam Gullas para sa FETCUDA as representative sa sektor.

Mapasalamaton si Federation of Talisay Urban Dwellers, Inc. - Fetcuda President Ely Dela Cuesta as he witnessed sa pagturn-over sa core houses para sa mga 27 ka mga sakop sa Candaya Urban Poor Homeowners Association, Inc.(CUPHAI) sa Barangay Mohon.

Kodus to the Officers of CUPHAI led by their Association President Sir Geoffrey Sinangote. CUPHAI is also the home of FETCUDA Federation Secretary Rolando Artiaga.

We are always grateful to the support of Aksyon Agad Mayor Samsam Gullas, Vice Mayor Choy Aznar, and Committee Chairman for the Urban Poor City Councilor Gail Restauro and the rest of the members City Council since kini nga core housing project is in partnership with City Government of Talisay together with the various private institutions such as Habitat for Humanity Philippines under their Typhoon Odette Disaster Response Program.

Participated in the EcoBricks Training and Benchmarking of all Urban Poor Organization (UPO) Leaders and Officers of the Four (4) Federations in the City of Talisay, Cebu today, December 13, 2023, at the MRF Ecological Management Office (ESWMO) City Hall Compound.
