Most arts, music, dance and design establishes and maintains an underlying "metric level", a basic unit of time that may be audible or implied, the pulse, is a way of expression. The "beat" pulse is the component that is perceived as basic: it has a tempo to which listeners entrain to act. Design Pulse's intention is to entrain readers to be inspired and informed as following the rythm of our life through the co-operation of the visual arts.
