You And Music Radio is a brand new online radio station broadcasting worldwide from South East London. Taking our inspiration from the vibrant musical community of Peckham and the surrounding areas, the station will be running a taster weekend from Bold Tendencies (underneath Frank’s Rooftop Bar on Rye Lane) over the weekend of the 29th-31st May. The weekend’s events will take place in front of a
live public audience within Bold Tendencies unique hay-baled auditorium to kick off their prestigious summer programme. YAM Radio is a partnership between two pillars of the Peckham music scene: Rye Lane-based record shop YAM Records and local label First Word Records. Our aim is simple - to provide a platform for the incredible musical talent that we are lucky to enjoy in our corner of London, adding to it some high quality speech based shows from the wider community. South East London has many stories to tell, and we hope to make YAM Radio the place for them to be told. For this taster weekender we'll be offering a glimpse of what to expect from the station when we launch fully in 2016. Expect music from all the major players in the South East London music scene including Rye Wax, Rhythm Section, One Handed Music, On The Corner Records, Wah Wah 45s, First Word Records and much, much more.
