“There’s a lot of men out there that didn’t try hard enough to keep their families together”

Jeremy Meeks aka Shiver King is not your average type of man.

He quits things he enjoys.
He starts things he doesn’t enjoy.
This strategy is a recipe for sensational personal growth.

His life was work, booze, smoking, watching sports….on repeat. Until he had that aha awakening moment and realised his life was flashing before him.

A promise to walk his dogs everyday, turned into him running ultra-marathons. Running in -40 degree celsius is not unusual for him. He is built different.

Channelling his addictive personality and traits into a different realm of alignment is changing his life and inspiring many others to join him.

This is the pep talk you need!

Steven Murray is a fearless go-getter.

His whole life, whether it be business, sport, or adventure, he has had relentless ambition and always grabbed the bull by the horns to make the most of his opportunities.

That doesn’t mean he hasn’t had his fair share of struggles and ups and downs, like you and me. However, he has generally taken the time to self-reflect, be honest with himself and continually look to evolve from the lessons and challenges that life has thrown at him.

Steve, has achieved immense success in his endeavours, especially working for a start-up unicorn and then having the aspiration and courage to break-away with his own spinoff of the company.

Some people have mental grit….and then there is Toni Enderli

An unassuming character, doing herculean things. Accomplishing feats, very few humans would even contemplate doing.

He certainly is an endangered rare breed of man, doing tough things, pushing physical and mental boundaries.

The magic and growth happens at the edges of our comfort zones, something which Toni is not shy of testing!

As an extreme ocean swimming athlete, Toni has conquered some of the world’s most daring swimming feats, including the gruelling English Channel (38km) and Hawaii’s treacherous Molokai Channel (42km). Choosing to swim in a Speedo, a swim cap, and goggles, he is the only athlete to have achieved a staggering 30 Robben Island crossings, in ice-cold 13C water!

Toni is the real deal and such a nice, humble bloke. It’s a privilege to speak and learn from someone pushing the limits of life and adventure.

Few people have the mental strength and positive outlook on life like Oscar Chalupsky.

We can all do ourselves a favour and take a leaf out of his book.

His sporting prowess is comparable to many greats in sport. He is a multiple-times global surfski champion, having won the internationally famous Molokai to Oahu World Surfski Marathon championships a record twelve times.

In 2019, he was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, an incurable bone marrow cancer and told he had six months to live. A combination of medical treatment, exercise, iron determination and unconquerable optimism, he has defied every doctor’s prediction to date and is still going strong and competing in races around the world.

It’s a huge privilege for me to have such a raw and fun conversation with a man like Oscar.

20/09/2023

Most of us in life are living like we are going to live forever… we don’t necessarily stop to have a think about what we are doing and why we are doing it. We have desires like going on nice holidays, eating expensive meals or buying new clothes, which many of us are fortunate to experience. However, we have dreams like starting our own business or taking 6 months off to travel the world, which always remain… as dreams. Our desires consume our dreams.

It’s not until something tragic happens, when we take a step back, take stock, look at our lives and assess our priorities. Why only then, do we begin to ask ourselves what is really important in life? Each of us has the responsibility to take it upon ourselves and write down what we want in life. What are we sacrificing to not fulfil those dreams?

Why are we lying to ourselves and pretending we are happy with the status quo? We’re all part of this badly oiled, yet fast moving machine… but things need to change.

Your life is about choice. Choice doesn’t require you to quit your job, it does require you to challenge yourself and rethink how you do things though. We are all currently part of an old system and that system is not working well anymore. It’s time to stop complying with the system, to start showing up, to start writing your own map. Your dreams and aspirations are probably what keep you going each day. Don’t keep on making excuses why they are not attainable. The scrap heap of dreams is the saddest place in town, but also the greatest treasure chest waiting to be opened.

The game is changing, the rules are changing and the opportunities are changing. You owe it to yourself, first and foremost and then to those around you to uncover your brilliance, to remove your fears, to make a bold move and to start creating something that matters.

You are now living in an era when anything is possible. It’s easier, cheaper and faster to start something, big or small. It’s now also more important than ever to start positively contributing. So what is holding you back?

In a world where everyone seems to be so tribal and divided, it’s a good idea to do the polar opposite and build a movement.

We have the potential to enrich our experience while alive on this planet, together.

My type of Movement involves:

* Building a sovereign life
* Living and leading fearlessly
* Less time working, more time with family
* Connecting with nature
* Rediscovering my creativity
* Taking health seriously
* Enjoying money and time more while I’m young and able

13/09/2023

"We have to surrender the old paradigm of reductionist science. The concept of health is going to have to rebirth inside every single one of us. The only laboratory relevant to you, is your body.

Around 50-70 trillion human cells, are working with 1.4 quadrillion bacteria, an unknown number of fungi, and then 14 quadrillion mitochondria living inside your 70 trillion cells, and all of those cells are swapping genetics in real time, all the time. Every millionth of a second there is new genetic potential and that complex system gets to be interpreted by your senses"- Zach Bush

One of my favourite humans is Zach Bush. He has spent the last 12 years in a laboratory researching how a single cell works. He's come to the conclusion that we have almost zero idea about how the body truly functions, as it is such a complex system. He discussed this idea with Rich Roll on his Podcast.

Holy smokes, the 1st of September already, time certainly flies! As we enter into the last quarter of the year, what is something exciting or challenging that you have lined up?

I'm certainly looking forward to another epic summer with lots of beach time in Brazil. Also, getting to experience new things with my wife and daughter as we grow together as a family and feed off each others curiosity.

I have some really inspiring new guests coming up, who are pushing the boundaries in their respective fields and in terms of what it means to be human. We have so much to learn from each other, if we are willing to listen and observe.

I hope you have an awesome weekend 🙌🏼🫶🏻

Did You Just Dump Your Trolley?

They say that you can tell a lot about a person by what they do with their trolley after grocery shopping….

Do they just leave it at their car, or make the effort to take it back to where all the other trolley’s are kept for the next person to use?

I was straight up with Rich that I didn’t really want to be a keynote speaker, I just want to up my game as a host to help me grow my Podcast, and be a better presenter and interviewer.

After 10 minutes of catching up and a bit of banter (we are long lost internet buddies 😆) we started speaking about his Program. Within 5 minutes Rich had openly and honestly suggested that this was not for me because of the ROI if I was not going to be a keynote speaker.

I cannot tell you how much extra respect that garnered for Rich from me (it was already flippin high!). I think you can tell a lot about a person by the way they try to sell you something. In this case, advise you against buying something even though it impacts their bottom line.

Rich is playing the long game. He knows that he has dropped a few seeds with me, and that next year his STS Program will be right up my alley…and you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be bringing 2 or 3 friends with me to also do it.

Play the long game like Rich….oh and make the little walk to take back your trolley ;)

I was reading that on average we unlock our phone screens on average about 110 times a day....SAY WHAAAAAAT?!😱😱

That is seriously nuts.🤪

While our phones are next level amazing and have added an insane amount of benefit to our lives, they have also made us highly inefficient and are serious distraction machines.

- How many unread books have you got on your book shelf because you just end up scrolling for hours on end?
- How many tasks are left on your boring to-do list because scrolling is 'so much' more exciting? 🤔
- How frustrated are you ending your day because you have not accomplished much? (besides scrolling aimlessly of course!)
- How many un-started projects are there because....well, you decided to scroll for the 10th time today?

Using your phone to your advantage is something which requires discipline!

I would love to hear what tips people have that can help us all?!

Through the art of storytelling and storylistening, they explore epic tales of human adventure, anguish and achievement. They dive deep into people’s background stories, sometimes evoking painful suffering, and other times sensational heroic exploits.

Ultimately, their desire is to share a captivating narrative which traverses everything it means to be human. So that you feel empowered, educated and inspired to go forth and conquer your greatest dreams and desires…Why? Because if someone else has done it, it gives you permission to do the same!

These conversations will ultimately tickle your fancy, stoke your curiosity, and get you excited about the possibilities and opportunities which await and exist for us all as humans.
