Have you heard of the biggest influencer on the planet?

He’s sold more books than Charles Dickens, JR Tolkien, and JK Rowling combined.

He has more subscribers than Joe Rogan, Mr Beast, Tom Brady, and Donald Trump combined.

More people follow him than any other celebrity or business icon.

His legacy is bigger than any politician or king or empire.

Yet…

He wasn’t born with status.

His family wasn’t wealthy, famous, or politically connected.

He didn’t have a powerful backing.

He didn’t have friends with connections.

He didn’t have access to education, courses, and training on “building a brand” or “creating influence”.

Still in just 3 years of traveling by foot and speaking, he created a ripple effect making him the most famous man to ever walk the earth.

The craziest part?

This 3 year span was 2,000 years ago.

Before social media, going viral, the internet, and even the printing press.

Yet today, 2,000 years later over 2.3 Billion people claim to subscribe to him.

His book has sold over 5 Billion copies as the number one bestseller of all time.

That book also just happens to be the most historically verified non fiction writing work ever produced.

In fact, just in the US alone, there are 380,000 brick and mortar locations that gather on a weekly basis because of him.

No matter what you believe, the story and influence of Jesus Christ of Nazareth is undeniable.

If you haven’t truly dug into and researched what he said, who he is, and why he died for you, I would strongly suggest you give it a try! No church, no tv preacher, just you and him. Draw your own conclusion.

Today, as a follower and believer of Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I celebrate the anniversary of his resurrection.

He was publicly tortured and executed as an innocent man. He was raised from the dead 3 days later. Death was proven powerless.

Because of him I don’t fear death.

Because of him my children know where they came from and where they are going.

Because of him I am accountable to be a better human.

Because of him I am not swayed by the insanity of our ever changing culture.

I don’t work in vain because my works will last for eternity.

My funeral won’t be my end, but my beginning.

That, my friends is the good news.

99% of the time entrepreneurship looks a lot like this. You launch something, have success and go back to the drawing board on how to improve and make it better. The work is never completed and it’s a never ending pursuit of greatness.

This morning I had an awesome conversation with Yara who you may have spoken with if you’re a member of our .app

She sees what happens behind the scenes and shared the story of a butterfly.

For a caterpillar to become a butterfly it has to go through a transformation process that is ugly. It looks gross, hurts and is stressful. But on the other end when the transformation is completed it becomes a beautiful creature.

2022 I learned that this industry needed to be changed and it couldn’t be done from the outside. Working with various suppliers and businesses brought to our attention that they aren’t really about the entrepreneur. So we are flipping the industry on its head and stepping up in a big way!

January 2023 we release some game changing news 🔥🔥🔥. It started with YouTube, evolved with our community and next year we do it bigger and better.

The last week of this year should be spent on reflecting and finalizing the goals for 2023. One of my reflections and major wins of this year was losing 16 pounds! At the start of this year I was hovering around 214. For years I couldn’t get below 206. It wasn’t until I started to track my weight and view my eating patterns that it all started to change for me.

No fancy diets, no weight loss supplements just an easy to follow formula that anyone can use. Eat less calories, workout more. Doesn’t matter what you eat, just move more than you consume.

When I saw that my diet at the start of the year consisted of eating 2500 calories per day I saw the red flags. But even after eating less and moving more I still wasn’t losing weight. The graph on the next slide shows my weight loss journey. It stagnated and nothing happened for 2-3 months!

Suddenly it happened within 2 months that the weight shed off! If I wasn’t patient and got discouraged I would have ended the year at a similar weight. Especially as this year was stressful, I had a newborn and I’m a year older…

For me this is a major win and a reflection of being consistent and showing up even when you don’t feel like it.

So as you reflect on your year, I challenge you to find the moments of success, regardless of how small they may be. Celebrate those moments and let’s make 2023 and incredible year of growth 💪🏽.

This is Fatherhood 💪🏽. Took the family on a trip to visit their great grandma and cousins in Mexico. Surreal to take them through the places that shaped who I am. A few days into the trip everyone came down with a cold, but we made the best of every moment we had with each other. Being a father to my kids is an incredible blessing that I thank God everyday for. My parents immigrated from Mexico and gave us a chance to do more with our lives. Now that I raise my kids I want to position them to live a fulfilled life. With an incredible wife anything is possible ❤️.

It’s crucial for your brand to have an individual purpose and story in order to build a community. What should your target audience resonate with when they see your brand?

We all start for a reason, you just have to ask yourself a few key questions so you’ll be ready to explain your brand to anyone. A good example of this is an “elevator pitch”. Visualize yourself getting on an elevator with one person already on it. You're wearing a sweatshirt with your streetwear brand's logo on the front. The guy in the elevator is wearing an Off-White hoodie and you compliment him on his outfit. He then responds by asking you where you got your sweatshirt. This is when your pitch starts. You have about 20 seconds to explain the story, purpose, and why your brand exists. But how do you sum it all up in just one short statemen

When I was 19, I could bench 265lbs and curl 100lbs in each arm. My mile time was 6:20min and I felt incredible. Just whey protein and normal eating. That was at 19, with no stress (comparable) and good metabolism. Mid 20’s my metabolism dropped and I went to 215lbs and I’ve been working at losing that ever since 🤣.

This last month I finally got down to 205! My mile time is almost at 7min flat and I’m feeling that my best performance is around the corner. By changing my lifestyle to something that is sustainable for the rest of my life.

Aside from the benefits of physical performance tho, is the mental attitude that comes with it. When you’re stuck in your head, any challenge that arises can easily throw you off. When you get out of your mind, setbacks are temporary and you know the best is coming up.

As my daughter gets older she is beginning to understand the concept of ownership. This weekend I asked her if she wanted to see the room I grew up in. She said, “yes show me.” I found an old box of toys from the late 90’s and we began to play.

Dad life is one of the most fulfilling times of my life right now and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

The older I get, the more I come to understand that you have to keep things simple in order to enjoy life. There’s no need to complicate your personal or business affairs. Keep things simple, keep things transparent and show up and show love.

After having our daughter, I got an office space to house our operations. Very quickly we started hiring and before we knew it, 3 months would fly by without us taking time for each other.

Balancing a family, relationship, friendships and business is TOUGH. Only the people who are going through something similar can understand the levels of stress.

From the outside everything looks like smooth sailing, but it takes constant work and repetitions to stay in the game. But anything worth having takes work.

As men our greatest strength or weakness will be a women. The right women in your life is a force multiplier and can take you farther than you thought you could ever go.

The theme of this book helps paint a picture on what happens when you try and grow. Resistance comes from outside forces and will be out of your control. When my wife walked into the room 2 years ago and told me she had a surprise, I thought it was going to be donuts. Turns out it was a positive pregnancy test…

On that day my life changed. It was no longer just about us two, it would now be about the three of us. It made us set intentions as to what kind of life we wanted to live, and where our efforts and energy would go to make that a reality.

Fast forward 3 Father’s Day later, and I now have Zion Eli Santos. My firstborn son, and he’s showing me there is a lot for me to still learn.

Today society leads most to believe that this day isn’t that special. But to me it’s a reminder of the men who came before me, that gave me the opportunity to live in this world today.

We don’t get to choose what family or circumstances we are born into. My dad was a farmer who immigrated to America and he provided me with the framework of what it means to be a man. One that is willing to lead his women and children into a better place.

I hope that I can instill the lessons I’ve learned from him, and various family members and friends over the years into my kids. Only time will tell how well if a job I’ve done. But I’m going to give it every ounce I got 💪🏽.
