The combination of regular Ujjayi breathing and atmospheric soundscapes anchors and harmonises the listener’s breath in a perfectly natural way. Dr. Ronald Steiner is an acclaimed scientist and sports physician, as well as one of the very few Yoga teachers taught and authorised by the traditional Indian masters Sri K. His extensive expertise has been summarised in the AYInnovation® method. AYI® preserves the traditional core of Ashtanga Yoga, whilst complementing it with modern scientific research. The AYInnovation® method is currently being taught at over 70 Yoga schools and 15 training institutions across Germany. Dr. Steiner’s message is accompanied by singer, songwriter & AYI® Yoga teacher Bianca Harrison, who also plays several percussion and woodwind instruments on this record, as well as by renowned music producer and film composer Roald Raschner. Whether using a Shruti Box or Japanese Shakuhachi flutes, “Wave & Breath” features instruments from all over the world.
