It's been a minute since I've felt well enough to get into cosplay. These were from Long Beach Pirate Invation
My partnerd and I decided his sister-in-law and nieces needed to experience a Ren Faire environment at least once in their lives and to say they were hooked is an understatement. Sadly my health tanked even more after this, so we haven't been able to make it to any more faires' this year, and unfortunately not a lot of faires' are ADA compliant down in SoCal, so if I needed any of my other mobility aids, I'd be very limited in which areas, if any at all, I could explore. Thankfully though this one was on a peninsula that had a paved pathway and I only needed my cane that day, but I could definitely see anyone using a wheelchair or walker having an issue as there were some gathering areas with actors that were in grassy areas. But it was a fun day in the sun nonetheless! Just be sure to bring your sunscreen!
