Hey everyone! I'm posting here today because our good friend Hex is in need of some help.

Hex is best known on-camera for his dramatic portrayal of Carlito in Resident Horror but his contributions to X-strike history as an artist are completely off the charts. The River City Rumble v2 cover and interior character art? Hex. The Nth Mile poster and cover art? Hex. The Resident Horror character art that's in the super secret digital only script release? Hex. Announcement! For at least a decade now people have been asking if there's a place they can have their friends watch the movies digitally on the internet. Very soon, the answer to that question is going to be YES. We are going to be gradually uploading all the old movies to Youtube for your viewing pleasure, for free! Of course, the DVDs will still be available as a means to support us and see all the extra features but now there will be a convenient way to enjoy the movies anytime and anywhere.

To kick things off we have something special planned. This Friday night, May 6 at 9PM EST on www.twitch.tv/xstrikestudios, Tim Ekkebus, David Autovino and Darrin DeMarco are going to be doing a LIVE commentary and Q&A over the near-20 year old River City Rumble. Be there for the trip down memory lane and pick our brains with any questions you might have. See you then!

Today marks 19 years since X-Strike Studios officially birthed into existence. It is INSANE that we're almost at the two decade mark.

I know things have been pretty quiet since we officially restarted production a few years ago but the pandemic really put the whomp on us being able to do anything as we all have been overwhelmed with "bigger fish to fry". Hopefully we'll be able to get back to making stuff sooner than later but until then, we have some fun ideas of stuff to do to highlight X-Strike's classic catalogue, the foremost of which is actually getting the movies up online for people to view anywhere and anytime they want.

We'll have more to say about that VERY soon but for now let's all bask in the glory of X-Strike on this wonderful day and feel free to share some of your favorite X-Strike memories!

Just wanted to take a second to thank everyone who has checked out the X-strike store since the site has gone back up and double-thanks to everyone who has ordered some movies! I forgot the fun feeling that comes with shipping out DVDs to people.

New, original content is unfortunately still on hold until the pandemic comes to some kind of a conclusion but I'm hoping to spend some time in 2022 highlighting and spreading the word on the classic X-strike catalogue to new folks. I have some ideas but is there anything particular you would be interested in seeing/hearing from us? Let's hear it!

Did you know that X-strike Studios made a documentary about the second MAGFest? The 40 minutes doc ended up being a big tool in the early years of MAG to help promote the event and is probably the thing we made that the most people have seen. You can watch it freely on Youtube but it is also nestled away as a special feature on the River City Rumble DVD (which is of course available for purchase on www.x-strikestudios.com)

MAGFest 2022 begins today and it's sad to say that this will be the first time in almost 20 years that X-strike will have no presence at the event. MAG has been a massive part of X-strike's history, it was our 'home' convention where we premiered almost everything we ever made and had our biggest fan base. It's a huge bummer to miss this year but under our current crazy circumstances, it just didn't come together.
