The Guinness World Record for the most restaurants visited on foot in 24 hours is broken by a 22-year-old Nigerian.
Munachimso Brian Nwana, a 22-year-old content creator, holds the global record for the most fast food places visited in 24 hours.
Brian broke the previous record of 100 establishments visited, set by American YouTuber Airrack last year, by visiting 150. Before it, the late Lynn "Lynja" Davis and Nick DiGiovanni, two popular personalities on TikTok, had owned the record.

Since there isn't much public transportation in the city, Brian had to walk the full distance to try this record. No private vehicles are allowed.

According to GWR, he covered a distance of more than 25 km on foot, starting in the Gwarinpa residential area and ending in the city centre.

Senior police officials have been instructed by Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun to safeguard demonstrators around the country during the August 1–10, 2024, EndBadGovernance demonstrations.
The directive was sent by IG Principal Staff Officer CP Johnson Adenola in a letter dated July 29, 2024, in response to a plea from human rights attorney Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa (SAN).
In a letter to the police chief dated July 28, 2024, Adegboruwa requested police protection for demonstrators.

The police chief directed top officers to abide by the senior lawyer's request, according to the letter.
