A Front Row View Promoting Faith By Presenting A Front Row View perspective of Christian Music, Christian Books, Chri

In Paul’s letter to the Philippians, he says in chapter four, verse eight to “Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”

Never in history have Christians had so many opportunities to fill their minds with the knowledge of Christ! Christian music, books, conferences, movies and tele

vision are all “faith supplement” tools to be taken advantage of during this era in which we live. I am ecstatic to launch this new website called, A Front Row View. It is my desire to keep the public informed about the latest products, events and opportunities available on the Christian market. It is also my desire to present feature stories, interviews, Christian interest articles and devotions to encourage others. My intention is to promote faith by offering A Front Row View perspective of the many wonderful things taking place in the world of Christianity.

A STATEMENT FROM GAITHER MANAGEMENT GROUP:
One of the best loved Gospel music families in America, The Nelons were involved in a tragic, fatal plane crash on Friday afternoon on their way to join the Gaither Homecoming Cruise to Alaska. Killed in the crash were Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, Amber and Nathan Kistler and their assistant, Melodi Hodges, along with the pilot, Larry Haynie and his wife, Melissa. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the accident.

Autumn, Jason and Kelly’s youngest daughter, and her husband, Jamie Streetman were not on the plane and arrived safely into Seattle and were notified of the accident. They were brought to the hotel where artists were gathered with Bill and Gloria Gaither to pray, sing and embrace them in their grief, pledging to support them in whatever needs arise.

Autumn and Jamie will return home for now to Kelly’s brother, Todd Nelon and his wife, Rhonda, to begin the hard tasks that lie ahead. Please keep them, the Kistler family, the Haynie family and the family of Melodi Hodges in your prayers.

A STATEMENT FROM AUTUMN NELON STREETMAN
As many of you have heard by now, my father and mother, Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, along with my sister, Amber and brother-in-law, Nathan, as well as our dear friends Melodi Hodges, Larry and Melissa Haynie were involved in a tragic plane crash on Friday. Thank you for the prayers that have been extended already to me, my husband, Jamie, and our soon-to-be-born baby boy, as well as Jason’s parents, Dan and Linda Clark. We appreciate your continued prayers, love and support as we navigate the coming days.
Autumn Nelon Streetman

23 Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day.

24 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.

25 For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods.

26 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens.

I Chronicles 16:23-31

27 Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy are in his dwelling place.

28 Ascribe to the LORD, all you families of nations, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.

29 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him. Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.

SELAH JOINS AMY GRANT FOR NASHVILLE HOLIDAY TRADITION

NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Prior to embarking on their highly anticipated 10-city Christmas tour, multi–Dove Award-winning vocal trio Selah joined GRAMMY®-winning superstar Amy Grant in Nashville earlier this week for Lipscomb University’s 18th annual Lighting of the Green. Presented by FirstBank and hosted each year by Grant, the event also featured GRAMMY®-winning dc Talk founding member and Newsboys frontman Michael Tait, along with various choirs and vocal ensembles from Lipscomb University and Lipscomb Academy.

Heralding the season for Lipscomb students, staff and the Nashville community, Lighting of the Green is a longstanding Christmas tradition spotlighting performances from some of Music City's biggest names. During the event, Selah took the stage at Lipscomb's Allen Arena to share their signature rendition of “Light of the Stable” as well as a stirring acoustic performance of “At This Table,” the group's latest single.

The renowned trio also kicked off their “Christmas with Selah” Tour this week with a sold-out hometown show in Franklin, Tennessee. Featuring special guest singer/songwriter Natalie Layne, the tour showcases selections from Selah’s two acclaimed holiday recordings—2002’s Rose of Bethlehem (Curb) and the recently released At This Table: A Christmas Album (3Cre8tive). The “Christmas with Selah” Tour is slated to make stops in Pittsburgh; Lakeland, Florida; and Davenport, Iowa, among other cities, before concluding December 17 in Chicago.

Comprised of Todd Smith, Allan Hall and Amy Perry, the 11-time GMA Dove Award-winning group is celebrating 25 years in Christian music with two new full-length recordings. Greatest Hymns Vol. 3 and At This Table: A Christmas Album bowed via Selah's label, 3Cre8tive, in October and are available exclusively at national retail with various singles featured on streaming platforms.

To date, Selah has amassed more than 750 million streams; 4 million albums sold; two Gold-certified albums; and eight #1 singles. Renowned for their impassioned interpretations of timeless hymns, classic songs of faith and signature originals, Selah’s music has been a beacon of hope and healing to listeners around the world for a quarter of a century. The trio’s iconic anthems include “You Raise Me Up,” “Press On,” and “Wonderful, Merciful Savior,” among numerous others.

Five Minute Friday Writing Prompt; “Vision”

I think God-given vision is hope soaring on the wings of faith with supernatural, divine perspective. It is a sanctified conviction that dares to dream beyond “what is” and imagines what can be, should be and what will be. Without vision we are stagnant, stale and still.

God… give us vision to see as you do, and to conceptualize what we can do. Give us wisdom and resources to realize and bring to fruition what we could never think up on our own. We need God- given vision!

Deeply saddened at this news! Please Pray for the Stice family.

Triumphant Friends,

We are very sad to learn of the passing of founding member & Pianist Jeff Stice. Jeff’s talent and more importantly his testimony will live on in the hearts of all he came in contact with and those he inspired. We had the privilege of spending 12 incredible years with Jeff, traveling the country. The Triumphant Family joins the rest of the Gospel Music community in praying for his wife and his family. May God give them a peace that passes all understanding.

Love sweet Connie!

To the fans of Connie Hopper:

The Hoppers have faced more than their share of medical crisis, trying to avoid telling the world about them for fear of unnecessary sympathy or as though we are seeking charity.
The last thing we want is for you, the consumer, to feel obligated to support us in our time of personal trial.

However, we are real people who go through very real, very scary situations.
To cut straight to it, doctors discovered a mass in Connie’s frontal lobe—resting on her optic nerve and pituitary gland—back in February. She hadn’t been acting normal; Connie is a mid-fifties-acting 80-year-old lady with a face seemingly frozen at age 70. But something was off. We all knew.

After multiple attempts at fast medicine, she was finally tested in our local ER for 5 hours where the tumor was discovered. Our hearts sank; we immediately thought her past dealings with breast cancer had metastasized to her brain. But God had another plan…

Five days later, a peaceful Connie lay in pre-op awaiting her turn on the table. Her surgeon, a spry 39 year old, had eluded that these complex surgeries were for the “less seasoned” but he felt confident his new patient would pull through.

Several hours later, without a single intrusive incision, the neurosurgeon came to announce that not only had he gotten all of the mass but that it had appeared “dry and dead”. But God..!

Pathology reports confirmed it was in fact benign.

If you’ve been to any of our concerts or watched livestreams in the last 6 months, you’ve likely heard this story.

Connie has been hearing from her friends that “use the internet” about some unkind things being said because some of you don’t know the “whole story”…
Please refrain from doing so in the comments of this post. We are telling as much information as SHE wishes in HER time. Please be respectful.

PS: Claude is just fine and still traveling!
Blessings,
The Hoppers

What a huge answer to prayer!

What a huge answer to prayer!

25/07/2021

Jonathan is in ICU. Genesis 41:52 came to mind when I read the following text Jonathan sent me this morning. He is being fruitful in the land of his affliction: “I am physically exhausted yet Spiritually overflowing! I am continually pouring over the Psalms of Ascent (120-134) in ICU. I have had the privilege of sharing Jesus with the ER & ICU staff! What a Savior! God is so good!”
Please be encouraged that God is hearing and answering your prayers—just please don’t let up. Pray he will not have to go on a ventilator, that his oxygen levels would increase, that his lungs will be strengthened, healed and that his health will be fully restored—with no long term complications. My heart is filled with gratitude for your prayers.
