Tuesday I will begin a 3-email series to my clients.
Each message will detail one of the three newest changes made by Apple Podcasts:
1. Transcripts
2. Auto-downloads
3. Episodic Artwork
The first will feature a video of how to retrieve the Apple-generated transcript - in case you want to correct it or use it to populate all podcast apps that show transcripts from your RSS feed.
If you're not a client but want to know more, schedule a call: stevestewart.me/schedule
How to download the Apple-generated transcript so you can edit it and even upload it to your media host (if they allow) so the transcript can be shown in all podcasts apps that display transcripts from your RSS feed.
Verbal crutches that I though I had kicked - but haven't.
#sigh
Two interviews that came out this past month proved that I haven't kicked my "and", "and uhm", and "you know" crutches.
No wonder I got good at editing. I had to edit myself early on!
I'd like to share two great lessons from this podcast I had the pleasure of appearing on:
1. The content, which is all about helping timid podcasters with their CTAs (calls to action)
2. The content came from a presentation that I did virtually in 2020, but isn't available anywhere other than the conference's virtual library. The only way Lyndsay, the host, found out about the presentation was a slide deck that is posted in my LinkedIn profile.
Good content can live on and be repurposed by appearing on other shows.
Thanks for having me Lyndsay!
Yes, this is sort of a political post - but it's more of a "No good deed goes unpunished" kinda thing.
Actually, it's a perfect example of The Cobra Effect.
I thought a pause on Federal Student Loans was okay in March 2020. The pause brought instant relief in a time of uncertainty.
3 years later it might be ending. (3 years!)
