Love ya, daddio 🤍
Last night was a *stunning* one for my favorite Lou summer tradition 😍🎭
Today marks three years for me at WHAS11 News —
Three years ago I was a reporter, desperate for a shot on the desk.
Three years ago I was scared, excited, hungry.
Three years ago I thought I’d be gone, on to the next job by 2024.
But in these last three years, Louisville captured my heart. It’s the place I met incredible friends, got engaged, became an anchor, learned what I’m capable of. It’s home.
I’ve made a lifetime of memories at WHAS and in our beautiful city — and I can’t wait for more 🤍
Had a blast at this year’s WHAS Crusade for Children telethon!!
There is still a TON of time to donate — and every single dollar goes to help kids with special needs in KY and IN 🤍

This weekend in Cincinnati was an absolute dream 😍 I’m so grateful my mom and maid of honor were able to visit and help me find the perfect wedding dress!!

Several times a year, veterans fly to Washington to visit their respective memorials. WHAS11 tagged along to document these powerful journeys.
This weekend, the world’s top golfers are shining at Valhalla Golf Club.
For the folks at Shawnee Golf Course though, the game is about far more than championships and trophies. Instead, this public course shaded by the Sherman Minton, is driven to give everyone access to a life-changing game. WHAS11 News

Heads down, helmets on, their skill and determination carried them to the biggest stage in horse racing -- a well-earned shot to run for glory. WHAS11 News

March is Women's History Month -- and this year's celebration is particularly important to the Louisville Division of Fire. LFD is marking 40 years since welcoming its first female firefighters.
In the decades since, women have climbed the ranks at the department, which recently named its highest ranking woman ever. But, all told, just 28 women have graduated the academy as suppression members.
Capt. Tamara Stewart says that's why visibility is crucial -- so women and girls interested in a life of service know what's possible 💪
In 1984, Vicki Bell, Deidra Berry and Cynthia Lewis became the first female firefighters to join the Louisville Fire Department. READ MORE: https://whas11.co...
JUST IN 🚨The Sherman Minton is now OPEN.
We saw some traffic moving around the bridge earlier, and Sam Gabrielli just headed across into New Albany to confirm. Excellent news for drivers this morning!
The I-64 Sherman Minton Bridge has reopened to traffic in both directions.
Engineers with INDOT, KYTC and the design-build team completed repairs and final inspections this morning. All safety specifications required by KYTC, INDOT and the Federal Highway Administration were met prior to reopening the bridge to ensure it is safe for the traveling public.

You may have noticed a lot of black dresses on our set this week... and you'll keep seeing them through Friday.
Here's why: I'm participating in the Junior League of Louisville's Little Black Dress Initiative, which raises awareness about the challenges for youth experiencing homelessness in our community.
I'll join dozens of other women in wearing one black dress, 5 days in a row. We'll also be donating professional clothing to Dress for Success, which aims to empower young women to achieve economic independence!
