We are on board Infinity, and our defenses are down. Looks like it's time to clean out the Prometheans and Covenant.
So, we have to go all Janitor on the ship, and reactivate the defense systems of Infinity, with a MANTIS!

Finished the Fight! | Halo 3
So, we made it to the Control Room, and 343 Guilty Spark felt betrayed that we decided to activate the installation prematurely. So, after a little tussle that concluded with the destruction of the monitor of Installation 04, and the death of Earth's unkillable Sargent. We activate this newly unfinished ring and escape from the blast radius.
This is the final stretch to finish all the fights that were started in the beginning of Halo CE.

Finally, High Charity has been blown up, and now we have to activate the newly built Installation. So, let's make our way to the Control Room. But, we have to make sure to kill off the flood to make sure the infection does not make it to the Control Room.

We are still searching the infected High Charity, and luckily we find ourselves a Flamethrower. So, we are burning our way through all the disgusting infected flood forms to retrieve Cortana. Don't make a girl a promise you can't keep.

Return to High Charity | Halo 3
The Great Journey has been stopped, and we have discovered after the destruction of the first discovered Halo, 343 Guilty Spark decided to rebuild another ring, and so we decide to reprogram and activate this ring to destroy the flood. But, first we need the Activation Index, and guess who has that?
Looks like we have to return to High Charity and retrieve Cortana to activate the ring.

End of the Great Journey | Halo 3
We've gotten past the dual Scarabs and a good chunk of the Prophet of Truths defences. In that time the Prophet has managed to start the activation of the rings.
Now we are temporarily teamed up with the Gravemind and the Flood to make it through this final stretch and finally stop the wretched Prophet and end the Great Journey.

Don't Cross The Streams! | Halo 3
The barrier has been taken down, and now it's a full-scale assault to stop the Prophet of Truth. But, the Brutes throw everything they have at us to make sure the Prophet is secure, and that includes two Scarabs at once.
