Google started limiting the display of FAQ-rich results and the placements of How-To results on specific types of websites, the change should finish rolling out globally within this week. The goal is to provide users with a more consistent search experience, and will only offer FAQ (from FAQ page structured data) rich results for well-known, authoritative government and health websites.

Should you remove FAQ & How-To structured data? No, it is not needed, it doesn't cause problems in search.

What about How-To rich results? It is not going away entirely and will keep appearing on desktop, so it is good to keep them. Traffic drops have been detected already in FAQ and How-To content if the site is not a highly authoritative government or health website.

Our recommendations are:

- Keep the content as it is, no changes are needed if it is useful for the user
