Blood Oath Vinyl update :

All refunds have been issued, if you paid via Paypal you should have it immediatly, if you paid any other way it should be with you within a few days (depends on your bank)

Refunds via Shopify are not as straight forward as I would have thought, all Paypal payments were done manually which took ages to process.

Hello,

The band have emailed me the following decision :

"Hi.
We've been talking about this and have decided that it is better to cancel the agreement. We understand the situation, but I think this is probably best for both parts, so you can focus on your business without the pressure of this release, and we can deal with the vinyl release on our schedule, as we have a new release in the works for this year and it would be ideal if the release date of this vinyl does not coincide with the new release.

Thank you very much for your interest, we wish you the best for this year and we hope that in the future we can work on something.

Cheers!!"

This is the outcome of the label facing financial difficulties.

When I first started RTD I had a full time job to support the costs of starting a label, just before the release of the Cathartic debut I lost my job and decided to start my own company instead of trying to find work elsewhere. Whilst I am managing to support myself I currently do not have the disposable income I once had before that is needed to start an underground death metal label.

At this point I had already agreed to take on the Blood Oath release and because I don't like going against my word I promised I would release both albums.

Unfortunately the band (Blood Oath) have decided I have taken too long to get the funds together to release the vinyl version of their debut. I fully respect their decision and have no hard feelings.

All pre-sales will be fully refunded

I have already started emailing/refunding people who have made a pre-order

Please be patient, I am not Amazon next day delivery
