Laughter is the story of a family in mourning.

After losing their father to demonic possession by a demon called The Sorgier, the family unit is forced to cope with loss and the realization of a force they have never believed in.

This page has inexplicably grown over the past three years. So I'd like to give everyone an update.

We released the first issue of Laughter in 2020. Our plan had been to shop the book at comic conventions to have a publisher pick up the book and fund the remaining three issues. For obvious reasons, we were unable to attend cons and promote.

In that time, I (Gavin, the writer) and Y. (the artist) turned our attention to other projects which were easier to manage independent and in the isolation. We do hope to return to Laughter to finish out the series, but for now, we wanted to share what we're working on.

As anyone who has seen the book knows, Y. is an incredible artist. If you're in or around NYC, keep your eyes peeled for her name in art shows. She's finalizing details on a displaying a piece in an upcoming exhibit. Once I have the details to share, I'll update this post. You can also check out here work on MONOCUL, an online comic commentating on the financial exploitation of working people. I'll post that link below.

As for myself, I have just released a slapstick horror novel entitled AN EXPLORATION OF EXISTENTIAL INDIFFERENCE IN A VOID OF CONFIDENCE (or Good Boy: a Novel) through Dandelion Publishing. It's now available in print and on Kindle, so if you're in a portion of the US that is snowed in and home bound, now may be a good time to dust off that Kindle. I'll post a link to the book in the comments.
