It's a challenge to be a children's book publisher and want to put out something genuinely haunting in today's climate. We all know children have to be protected from experiencing anything too real. Art Spiegelman, Françoise Mouly and Neil Gaiman sat down to talk about comics and children and exposing them to fear and dark material in books upon the initial 2014 release of Neil and Lorenzo Mattotti's Hansel and Gretel, and we're sharing that conversation again as we've recently made the book available in paperback.
