He sees himself as an artist and possesses a natural ability to relate his music to what the crowd is feeling thus sculpting the perfect journey. The connection between him and the dancers on his floor transcends the physical into the ethereal to a point where they are one entity traveling together on the journey. In 1985 When DJ Chris Arthur met DJ Kenny Coss at one of the first nightclubs he went to he knew this was his calling and was sure he wanted a career of bringing joy to the dancing masses. Under the mentoring of DJ Kenny Coss he worked diligently to emulate his master. After 3 years of spinning at parties and small events he got his first big club gig in 1988 at The Interbelt Nightclub in Akron, Ohio as the lighting tech and alternate for resident DJ Kenny Coss. As soon as the opportunity arose to become resident DJ there a couple years later he spread his wings and started to fly on his own. He continues to have a passion for lighting design as well which helps a lot when he goes to work in a club because if the lighting and music aren't in sync the journey is not complete.
