We're taking a break!

Hey Fans - the Buffy Straya gang have a bit going on at the moment - Mabel is gallivanting overseas, Megan is selling her house to move to the country and Chris is still settling into his new job. So we are taking a break for a month but will be back with you again soon!

Season 4, episode 12: New Man. Megan cannot Maths this episode and Chris hopes this quality of Buffy can last forever – but as Mabel points out this is one of the least rated seasons! Looks like there’s more good eps here then people give it credit for!

Megan also devastates Chris with a major spoiler on the future of Ethan Rayne.. and it’s all Name That Minor Character’s fault. This episode our listeners get to peek behind the curtain as the team discuss whether or not to edit things out… and then don't!

Season 4, episode 11: Doomed. The Buffy Straya gang rejoin Riley and Buffy right where they left things at the end of Hush, and Megan and Chris happily align themselves with , though Megan gets a little too enthusiastic and potentially turns Chris off him. Mabel makes the profound observation that the Hellmouth is actually surprisingly similar to a h***n. A few holes a poked into the plot as usual, but this time we get a bit of behind the scenes insight into why the writers may have missed some details. Clearly the writing is still quite strong since Megan snuck in a few extra quotes as usual.

Mmmm... foamy 🍺🍺🍺 Check out our latest episode! Somehow despite the title, the Buffy Straya gang come out of this episode still liking beer. In contrast to the simple title, the episode actually turns out to be deceptively deep and leads Megan to sharing some pretty profound psychology wisdom with us, as well as drawing parallels to some other iconic Buffy moments. We also get another great contender for the top spot in our Name that Minor Character Hall of Fame!

We continue to drop the ball, but don't worry it's not another unannouced hiatus! We just missed a couple of release dates. SORRY. As I'm sure you're used to by now, hectic lives and schedules coupled with bits of sickness really knocks out the team. Feels like we've had demons sucking our essence out while we sleep... Fortunately no one's been blasting Cher in our ears morning and night (though maybe Chris would like that).

Go go gadget... spiderman stakes? Angel is paralleling Batman in a lot of ways in the first episode, yet we somehow end up referencing both Inspector Gadget and Spiderman when referring to his new gadgets. Can you think of a better name?
