Went to Navy Federal Credit Union on yesterday with my son who will soon be 19 and the lady was thrilled at his credit score. I told her I added him on my cards at 16. She said thank your mom cause most kids your age come in and have a big fat zero.

Credit is very important. Don’t set your kids back because you think it’s something they shouldn’t have or because you think if I don’t have money to buy it I shouldn’t have it.

Credit is way more than just spending. It’s about having those limits and being able to get approved for necessities and more!
