It's time for Week 2 of our Blanton & Griffin Insurance High School Picks Contest! Last week, we had a record number of participants (171) and 7 of those tallied a perfect 9-0 mark (The Appling Co.-Ware Co. game cancelled). Those 7 participants (Samantha Allen, Bill Beckham, Daniel Calhoun, Gilbert Ellis, Justin Kyle Haley, Sevonte Jelks, and Dwayne Wynn) went to a tiebreaker and the only one with the exact margin of victory in our tiebreaker (8 points) was Gilbert Ellis. He wins a $20 gift card to Domino's provided by Hargray Fiber. Congratulations!

It's time once again for the Blanton and Griffin Insurance High School Picks Contest!! Each week, contestants will pick 10 games from around South Georgia and will predict a final score in our Honda of South Georgia Game of the Week. The weekly winners will receive a $20 gift card to Dominos, courtesy of our friends at Hargray Fiber!

But there is one big change this year. There will also be a season-long contest for the 15 weeks that the contest will be conducted. Last year, we dropped each contestant's worst week. However, we will NOT do that this year, so each week counts! We will post reminders to pick on our FB page each weekday during the season. But if you miss a week, it won't be dropped. So make sure to play each week. And our winner for the season will receive $500 in cash!!!

It's the final week of our High School Football Picks Contest! Last week, James Brown was the only contestant to go 9-1, missing only the Milton win over Walton, to claim our weekly prize. Congratulations!

For our season-long contest, it appears to be down to three contestants. Corenthia Jones and Dwayne Wynn have 113 correct picks on the year while Kyle & Susan Richter have 111.
