يازدهمين دوره جشنواره فیلمهای ایرانیِ استرالیا، از ١٦ نوامبر تا ١٣ دسامبر ٢٠٢٣ در شش شهر بزرگ استرالیا برگزار می‌شود.
شهرهای سيدنى، ملبورن، بريزبن، كانبرا، آدلايد و پرت در این تاریخ میزبان یازدهمین دوره جشنواره در استرالیا خواهند بود.

این دوره جشنواره شامل مجموعه ای از یازده فیلم بلند، دو فیلم مستند و شش فیلم‌ کوتاه ایرانی است. همچنین جشنواره با نمایش نسخه بازسازی شده فیلم “گاو” شاهکار سال ١٩٧١ داریوش مهرجویی فقید، از وی تجلیل خواهد کرد.

مجموعه ویژه با یازده فیلم شگفت‌انگیز که شامل:
- "ملخ" به کارگردانی فائزه عزیزخانی
- "شب،داخلى، دیوار" به کارگردانی وحید جلیلوند
- "زاپاتا" به کارگردانی دانش اقباشوی
- "ماده تاریک" به کارگردانی کریم لکزاده
- "مامان" به کارگردانی آرش انيسی
- "روشن" به کارگردانی روح‌الله حجازی
- "شكوه خاموش" به کارگردانی ناهيد حسن‌زاده
- "نگهبان شب" به کارگردانی رضا میرکریمی

Join us at the 11th Iranian Film Festival Australia, a cinematic journey from Nov 16 to Dec 13, 2023, across six Australian cities 🇦🇺.

You're in for a treat with eleven exceptional feature films, two documentaries and six short films.

In a touching tribute, we'll honor Dariush Mehrjui with screenings a Restored copy of his 1971 masterpiece, “the Cow” plus behind the scenes of the film.

Program includes:

افتتاحیه دومین هفته فيلم استراليا در موزه سینما برگزار شد.

‎افتتاحيه دومین هفته فيلم استراليا در تهران، با حضور خانم لیندال ساکس سفیر استرالیا و سفرای كشورهای مختلف از جمله: آلمان، اتریش، برزیل، هلند ،پرتغال، ژاپن، اسپانیا، دانمارک، سوییس، لهستان، مجارستان، نروژ، تایلند، اندونزی، واتیکان و جمعی از سينماگران و هنرمندان: رویا تیموریان (بازیگر)، گوهر خیر اندیش (بازیگر)، عباس یاری (نویسنده و منتقد) ، نظام الدین کیایی (صدابردار)، محمدرضا مصباح (تهیه کننده)و امير اسفنديارى (مدیر کمپانی ایرماج) ، ٩ شهريور ماه در موزه سینما برگزار شد.
در این مراسم سفير استراليا و آرمين ميلادی مدير هفته فيلم استرالیا سخنرانی كردند.
لیندال ساکس سفیر استرالیا در ایران در ابتدای این مراسم گفت: خوشحالم از اینکه این جمعیت را برای افتتاح دومین هفته فیلم استرالیا می بینم و مراسم افتتاحیه در این جای زیبا برگزار می شود.
سفیر استرالیا در ایران ادامه داد: فیلم‌های استرالیایی نماد فرهنگ و خلاقیت و نخبگی ما هستند.
آرمين ميلادی هدف از برگزاری اين هفته فيلم را فرصتی برای توسعه روابط فرهنگی بين اين دو كشور دانست.
‎فيلم «زمین مرتفع» ساخته استفن مَکسول جانسون به عنوان فيلم افتتاحيه نمايش داده شد و
در شب های بعد، فیلم های «کوره» ، «قوچ ها» و « دوباره جون» ، «نیترام» به صورت رایگان به نمایش در آمدند.

هفته فیلم های استرالیایی در تهران از 9 تا 11 شهریور با نمایش مجموعه ای از بهترین فیلم های سال های اخیر سینمای استرالیا توسط موسسه فرهنگى دريچه سينما و سفارت استراليا تهران، در بنیاد سینمایی فارابی  و موزه سینما برگزار می‌شود.

تمامی فیلم‌ها رایگان و به زبان انگلیسی با زیرنویس فارسی خواهند بود.

The Hollywood Reporter Review 🌟🌟🌟🌟
The film’s theme is the role selflessness plays in a person’s life — caring about other people and humanity at large versus one’s own little orchard. Her honest desire to be of service to others is the reason .
Panahandeh’s screenplay, which she wrote with her usual co-writer and editor Arsalan Amiri, has most to say when T**i is on screen, like a noisy wedding scene where a Roma band is playing and women are dancing joyfully. The plain shooting style adds little to the story.

Synopsis:

A hospitalized, critically ill physicist, working on a theory about black holes and the end of the world, meets a rather eccentric hospital housekeeper named T**i. Though single, T**i is acting as a surrogate mother for an infertile couple in order to serve humanity and raise money to

build a small room of her own. When the physicist falls into a deep coma, T**i, raised by Iranian gypsies and possessing supernatural powers, performs a strange ritual to save him. This is the start of an odyssey; an odyssey that changes their lives forever.
