Playhouse64 is an online arts journal. We’re interested in processes of mediation as they occur in the early twenty-first century. With a particular focus on emerging poetry and prose, we prioritize art which feels contemporary, is self-reflexive, referential, and/or engaged with a range of visual media.

The website showcases a selection of literature and visual art we consider to be in acco

rdance with this project. We plan to publish a series of magazines, downloadable in PDF, bringing together a limited selection of work submitted to the journal for consideration. In addition, a bi-annual print edition of Playhouse64 will be launched at live events during the year. The print edition will feature a more comprehensive range of the best work we have received.
