DEAD BODY FOUND INSIDE UNATTENDED VEHICLE
(UPDATED) A man was found dead inside an unattended vehicle on Thursday, June 22. The vehicle was parked along the road leading to Hilltop, Brgy. Langub in Davao City.
The Maa Police Station revealed that the 25 year old man was a resident in Catalunan Pequeño.
According to a female resident nearby Hilltop, the vehicle had been parked by the side of the road on or about 2 p.m. that day while the engine was running.
An hour later, she noticed that the vehicle was still parked, but the engine was not running anymore. She then approached the vehicle and looked inside, where she discovered the driver lying on his back at his seat lifeless. She immediately called the Central 911.
Rescuers decided to break the vehicle's side glass on the passenger's side since the doors were fully-locked inside.
The victim's cadaver was immediately brought to a nearby funeral parlor for autopsy. According to authorities, it was presumed that the possible cause of death was due to suffocation.
Authorities also found no evidence of foul play in the victim's death.
