Cults of life is your favorite international collage zine.
6 issues released since launch August 2014. Issue #6 "Cult leaders" out now!

Cults of life is one man's diy project fueled by love to collages and creating new. Zines are released thru Horst publishing (very small local label runned by the same guy). Issues will be published irregularly as long as this remains interesting. In every issue the artists will work around the given theme. Zine is edited and curated by Niko Vartiainen. www.nikovartiainen.com

The theme was a selected with votes and “Mythology” won by just 2 vote difference!! It was so cool to follow the situation along the tight voting.

CALL FOR ARTISTS!

Cults Of Life is now accepting submissions for issue #10 ”Royal”.
Theme for this celebrational 10th issue is "Royal" - so let's get crazy! All the participating artists will be selected from received submissions and each artist will have those two (2) works included to the zine. And like the previous issues, the upcoming zine will also contain a one invitation based artist interview and showcase.

Theme: "Royal"
Size: A5 300dpi, full color print
→ 148x210mm / 5,827x8,267inch / 1748x2480px
→ For full page work add 3mm bleeds
Send your 2 submissions to [email protected] with following details (work titles, artist name, country, URL).
All the artists will be notified after the deadline wether they're selected or not.
Deadline for submissions is Saturday 31st July 2021.
The zine will be released in August 2021.

And artist interview of Andrei Cojocaru (FR).

Issue 9 is co-curated with Michael DeSutter (). This was such a cool experience for me - I’m not really that good to share my projects and now I handed out one of my beloved things to the hands of another creative mind. It was so cool to notice that when we were going thru the submissions our the curational lines were very different but still heading in the same direction.

February 2021, A5 format, 44 pages, 19 artist features, and 1 artist interview.
