Nocturnal Transmissions is the offering of the Bay Area based DJ FACT.50 (Joshua A. Pfeiffer) and Phoenix Az. based music researcher and inhuman android, Victor Montes. Joshua has been a long time supporter of the Post-Punk umbrella of music scenes. With much activity during the early 2000’s revival, hosting and DJing local shows and founding the website www.post-punk.com in late 2003. He was the sole proprietor of the site until the early 2010’s at which point he became too overwhelmed with non-music related responsibilities and handed over control to new owners who had a grand vision for the site. Since that time, post-punk.com has blossomed into the premiere location for news, interviews, and original content within the international Post-Punk community. Though no longer directly involved, he couldn’t be prouder of what it has become. Victor has been friends with Josh for many years and when Josh first started this show, Victor was always sending him new releases from his vast network of contacts. But as of May 2019, Victor is now an official co-producer on the show. Since around 2010, FACT.50 steered into many other styles of music for various events, but his beloved Post-Punk / Deathrock / Dreampop/ etc. slowly fell by the wayside. Still listening to this music at home all the time, yet unable to share it with the world. He decided to try his hand at streaming radio. Now signed up with Manchester based AnalogueTrash Radio to host a weekly 2 hour block of awesome music, both new and classic. Well known and totally obscure. It is our hope that this show will introduce you to some awesome new musical avenues. There are literally thousands of bands that fit this theme and we plan to play them all! Enjoy!
