The best thing you can do for yourselves when planning your day is thinking about how you can spend time with each other intentionally rather than aspects you need to check off a timeline. 🫶🏼 there’s so many ways to center your day, but here are a few!
1. Make sure that the time you have is specifically for you! Have completely private first looks/ first touches, without others around or peeking in.
2. Read vows or letters just the two of you— even ask your photo/ video team to step away.
3. Schedule time later in the day to come back together and step away. Even if you are having an already smaller wedding doesn’t mean you might still want a moment to recenter your intentions together.
- practice your first dance, have a drink, or go on a little walk!
4. And through all of these moments, try to be present. Ground yourself in the moment happening instead of thinking about the next thing 🫶🏼
