Citizens First Party (CFP) President Harry Kalaba has implored government to rehearse with Linyungandambo of western province and quickly address the issue of Barotse agreement.
Speaking in a telephone interview with Nyimba Explorers FM News, Mr Kalaba says there is nothing complicated about the Barotse agreemement.
Mr Kalaba narrates that while in opposition President Hakainde Hichilema promised the people of western province that once voted into office he would assent to the Barotse agreement.
He adds that Government should quickly hold talks with the people of western province and bring the matter to a conclusion.
Mr Kalaba states that the issue of Barotse agreement should be addressed with the seriousness it deserves.
He says there is no need for President Hichilema and the government to be pointing fingers at the Linyungandambo when he promised the people of western province that he would give consent to their call for secession once in power.
