Information on Rounds:
- In each round, one DJ will compete against one other randomly-selected DJ
- Each round will consist of 2 parts:
- In the first part, each DJ will be able to show off their skills in a single 7 minute solo set
- In the second part, each DJ will take it in turns, battle-style, to take control of the music as we flip between each DJ every 2 minutes. This will last 12 minutes.
- At the end of each round, the judges will score you and there will be an audience vote.
- The winner goes onto the next round.
- The rounds will be similar for the semi-finals and the finals, but each set and battle will last longer. For Music Lovers:
You’re invited to not just watch, but to judge who you think should be crowned Hong Kong’s Best DJ. Every DJ battle will be judged by our hand-picked panel of industry insiders, but the final deciding vote goes to YOU! The DJ who gets the loudest, most raucous, most roof-lifting screams of adoration wins the audience vote - so competitors make sure you get your crew together to support you on the night.
