Fast, hard rhythms and cascades of spaced-out sound effects prove to be an excellent medium for journeys to Inner Space. However, mellow grooves and dreamy melodies work just as fine to make the feet moving and the mind drifting away to alien worlds. That's why Black Out Records is not about a particular style, a particular genre. It's about deep, psychedelic sound – in all its synapse-tickling va

riety. Label founder DJ Psycko has witnessed the musical evolution of the scene since 2000, both as an eager party freak and as a passionate DJ. During all these years he has seen the change of the psychedelic seasons, new subgenres popping up, trends coming and going. In face of this dynamic development he never restricted himself to a particular style. That's why his brainchild Black Out Music, born in 2015, is meant to be a universal interface between Trance freaks and producers. The sound of the label oscillates around psychedelic deepness – 'Electronic Trance' would probably be the best description, as this term says everything and nothing. Was ist die beste Musik für die modernen Trance-Tanz Zeremonien des 21. Jahrhunderts? Eine eindeutige Antwort darauf gibt es nicht. Schnelle, harte Rhythmen und weltfremde Soundeffekt-Kaskaden eigenen sich hervorragend für Reisen in den Inneren Kosmos. Aber mit entspannten, groovigen Klängen und verträumten Melodien lässt sich ebenfalls großes Kopfkino herbei zaubern. Aus genau diesem Grund geht es bei Black Out Records nicht um ein bestimmtes Genre, einen bestimmten Stil. Es handelt sich vielmehr um ein Open Source Projekt für deepen, psychedelischen Sound in all seiner synapsenkitzelnden Vielfalt. (German)

Schon seit 2000 beobachtet Labelgründer DJ Psycko das musikalische Szenegeschehen mit ungebrochener Begeisterung – auf der Tanze und hinterm Mischpult. Im Laufe der Jahre hat er erlebt, wie neue Subgenres entstanden sind, wie Trends kamen und gingen. Auf einen bestimmten Style festlegen konnte er sich angesichts dieser Tatsache nie. Deshalb versteht sich das 2015 ins Leben gerufene Black Out Records auch eher als universelle Schnittstelle zwischen Trance-Freaks und Produzenten. Erlaubt ist alles, was aufgrund von psychedelischem Tiefgang Spaß macht. Deshalb spricht er auch gerne von 'Electronic Trance' – ein Begriff, der auf wunderbare Weise alles und nichts sagt.

CROWDFUNDING CAMPAIGN UPDATE:
We are very grateful to everyone that reached out to us with feedback and made suggestions to optimize the campaign, it really helped to learn what you would like to see happening and offered.

We listened to each of you and made sure to implement as much of it as we could, starting with extending the duration of the crowdfunding, to give everyone a chance to be part of it and make sure we will succeed in our projects together.

We also implemented some new perks and upgraded original ones, to make sure you will find something of your liking 🙂
We are already planning our first steps in the projects we are campaigning for and will keep you in the loop about developments and milestones within the next 7 weeks.

Welcome Pyrokine 🥳

Pyrokine is a Funky / Melodic hi-tech project found by Aravind from chennai, India in 2020. He was originally introduced to commercial music by his father who was a music composer. He started producing music for short films and internet series. Later he started experimenting with high speed music and psychedelic sounds, developing a taste for psytrance, resulting in the birth of this project. Project focus includes groovy basslines, ambient sounds, futuristic new age leads and vocal works. The vision of the project is to create a powerful and happy musical experience through intertwining melodies and arps which in turn kindles happy emotions and vibrations. Giving the audience an out of the world, intergalactic experience through high speed leads and variety of sounds, this syle of music brings people out of the dark, towards the morning light. With the help of his custom built theremin synthesizers, he generates FM noises and atmospheric sounds, live, during his set, giving the audience a more immersive and lively experience.

In the span of two years, he has performed in a variety of huge festivals such as Spirit Gust Festival, Freedom Blast Festival, Back to the Future festival, Magica Fesitval etc. across India(Goa,Chennai,Bangalore,Delhi,Hyderabad,Pune,Raipur,Udaipur,Ranchi,Kasol)& Dubai.
