Taking place over Friday night, Saturday morning (Bagpipes to the well for dressing), Saturday Afternoon at the café by the well and Saturday night in the Memorial Hall-an amazing line up of music we love, folk, bagpipes, singers and electronics, hammered dulcimers and psych guitar.

We're a few days ahead of St Caron's Day and landing for once on St David's Day, it's going to be a blast, come along , bring and tell your friends too.

Tickets are 'virtual', nothing to collect, we'll have your name on the door. But keep your email as proof of purchase. It is not 'just' folk related music we have oh no----check out this snippet from Tristan Rhys Williams-for our Shining Pyramid collection a while ago....I'm not sure what to expect (well, I do it's excellent).

Tristan makes soundworks based on the psychogeographic charge from the isle of Anglesey. They work towards a ritualistic, degraded aesthetic informed by the elements and ancient prehistoric sites in the environs.

Burd Ellen have a new single-cannily crafted for Valentine's Day and released last week...they're on a mostly selling out tour and this is your only chance to catch them in Wales!

THE LOVERS is the new single from Burd Ellen's critically acclaimed third album A TAROT OF THE GREEN WOOD. It is a new setting of a translated Danish narrative ballad that concerns the hunting of a deer, among other things.

The film continues the collaborative relationship between Burd Ellen and Scottish visual artist Kieran Milne. It is an excerpt from a longer audio/visual joint work entitled "Neither Witch Nor Will Warlock'' which was commissioned for the WITCH // HAG film festival in 2022.

A TAROT OF THE GREEN WOOD entered the Official UK Folk Album charts at number 17. It was number 5 in The Guardian’s Best Folk Albums 2022, and also made Best of Year lists from Folk Radio UK, Concrete Islands, Record Crates United and more. Songlines magazine gave it a coveted Top Of The World spot and the singles received regular plays on BBC6 Music, BBC Radio3 and BBC Radio Scotland.

Thrilled to announce that Angeline Morrison is playing in Tregaron at the Gwyl Ffynnon Garon-with Burd Ellen, Me Lost Me and more.

Angeline Morrison is a singer, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who explores traditional song with a deep love, respect and curiosity. Angeline mostly makes music in the genres of wyrd folk and psych folk, her work infused with elements of soul music, literature, ‘60s beat pop sounds, folklore, myth and the supernatural. With a feral approach, a handmade sonic aesthetic and a belief in the importance of tenderness, Angeline’s original compositions and re-stitchings of traditional songs focus on storytelling and the small things that often go unnoticed. Sounds like solitude, memory, nostalgia, a rainy walk amongst trees…

Angeline made her television debut on ‘Later…with Jools Holland’ in October 2022, and there’s a major interview with her in The Guardian.

Hi All-if you're local to mid Wales this lantern procession to Ffynnon Garon may be just the thing to do this Ysbrydnos-sure to be wet and dark down the muddy track to the well, lights will guide us and then to an evening of improvised musicks with Oupire, Steve Moyes and Anna Savage. Concert is £10 cash on door

A handful of the Friends of the Well are making lanterns on Sunday 30th-if you're interested, and local DM me-otherwise bring your own lantern
