Interesting vignette on the N109. Streatham has an influx of Deddys-in-the -Benk types, and 1 such approached a trumpet player who told him his cv included section work for Stormzy and Alex Isley. Questions from DITB included '....That's not jazz'; 'Why are you out so late?' (90s function band) and ',,, Are you still, like, at college'. DITB, like it must be said a typical young network newsreader these days, lacks a notion of the post-graduate,, the freelance , of making a living to enable something, requiring bus travel, and that live entertainment still exists as a physical and interactive endeavour
