We know you all love the new footpaths on the Bailick Road and Coolbawn 😅 but does anyone know when this area is being done?

So many people walk it now with the new estates and with the new paths leading out towards it. It’s and accident waiting to happen with people walking on the road to get around the bend 🫣🫣

The Clubhouse at Fota Island Golf is a creative conversion of old stone farm buildings. The exterior retains the original stonework and country feel that merges effortlessly into the surrounding landscape.

Something needs to be done… and fast!

Residents whose homes were destroyed in a devastating flood last October have appealed to the authorities to prioritise their safety over fish by approving riverbed dredging ahead of storm season.

The plea from residents in Midleton, Co Cork, comes as it emerged that Cork County Council has had to submit a third application since May for a special derogation to carry out emergency dredging works in a section of the Owenacurra River after the first two were not granted on the basis of “scientific advice” from Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI).

On , we celebrate Roches Point Lighthouse, which helps to guide ships to a safe entry and departure from Cork Harbour.

The lighthouse has been in existence since 1817 and it was converted to automatic operation in 1995.

Our Half Duck are been on our menu from the very beginning and is a firm favourite.

We marinade it with oir special seasoning then Slowly Roast it so that all that delicious fat melts away leaving a Crispy, flavoursome skin.
