With a nice shout out at The Belgian scene form the eigthties : Killer band, OSTROGOTH & CROSSFIRE . (stating that Crossfire sold many records in that area that they made it to appaer in 'Zomerhit' (Belgian television program with popular non metal artists)...

PRESS RELEASE:

Vinyl Invasion re-releases 'Crossfire-Second Attack' on vinyl. The second album from Belgian band Crossfire under the Mausoleum records monniker was a real triumph in 1985
The biggest highlight was of course their live-performance on the legendary fesitval 'HEAVY SOUND 1985'.
The LP, which is considered as one of the best metal albums of that era is remastered and features 2 BONUS TRACKS.
The album contains pictures and liner notes about the band's adventures after their 1st album and the Heavy Sound show.
The LP includes an exact replica of the original Heavy Sound entrance ticket, which featured a band photo and the CROSSFIRE logo!
The album will come out in 2 versions: on 'Second Attack yellow' vinyl & exclusively on' Heavy Sound golden' vinyl.
The album release is planned on the 'Heavy Sound Tribute week' in june 2024 and will go directly on sale there.

This week marks the 40th anniversary of WARLOCK'S debut album, BURNING THE WITCHES. Fronted by the immensely talented (and insanely hot) Doro Pesch, Warlock created a major buzz in the underground metal scene in the early 80s, prompting Mausoleum records to sign them in 1983. Despite being recorded in only six days, their first album was well-received by fans and critics.
20 years later, Doro Pesch returned to Belgium to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Mausoleum records alongside OSTROGOTH & Killer band. Another 2 decades later, we released this live album finally on vinyl. Doro Pesch Official German

Last week we celebrated in Belgium 'Week of Belgian music'. Staalhard , a radio show on W***Y aired 2 hours of Belgium Finest Metal. It featured 2 bands that we proudly released: OSTROGOTH & Killer band. It's a nice list, ffcourse one can easily double it. Which bands were forgotten ? Shoot!

We received a copy of 'Sounds of hell 4', a cd compilation with a nice extra booklet. The series are a initiative from Club HELL ; a true metal club in Belgium. The cd features a Crossfire Track 'Feeling down', taken from the debut album 'See you in hell'. Go out & get it !
