Over the next few weeks and months we're going to open up this little FB community as part of a new radio programme we're making for BBC Radio Ulster/Foyle. It's called Back Down the River, and features regular BBC presenter Mark Patterson. Mark's oldest friend is Lurgan man Boyd McClurg, and 25 years ago both men went to work in the Lake District as young outdoor instructors. They were fit and he

althy. Trim and intrepid. They climbed mountains and paddled every lake and river. But those days have gone, as has that spirit of youth. This documentary is the story of 2 lives. 2 friendships that have changed and matured. And 2 days 'back down the river' from Toomebridge all the way along the Lower River Bann to Ulster's iconic Atlantic shoreline at Castlerock. Will they make it? Let's see ...
