Hey Coaches! 🌟 Ready to elevate your training game? This week’s workout, "PLANES & LEVELS," is all about moving forward & back, side to side, rotational, and up & down. It's designed to supercharge your clients' functional fitness and keep those muscles guessing! 💪

The Different Planes of Motion:

Incorporating movements across various planes of motion is the secret sauce for next-level functional training. Here’s why:

1. Sagittal Plane (Forward & Back)

Think walking, running, and squatting. This plane is all about flexion and extension. Mastering exercises in the sagittal plane boosts overall stability and strength for everyday actions like climbing stairs or lifting groceries. 🏃‍♂️🏋️‍♀️

2. Frontal Plane (Side to Side)

Side lunges, lateral raises, you name it. Training in the frontal plane enhances lateral stability and agility. It's essential for activities that need side-to-side movement, from playing sports to simply reaching for something on a high shelf. 🕺💃

3. Transverse Plane (Rotational Movements)

Twisting & rotating, like Russian twists or throwing a ball. The transverse plane is crucial for core stability and balance, and it’s a game-changer for preventing injuries from sudden direction changes. Perfect for athletes in sports like golf or baseball. ⛳⚾

These week's workout focuses on all the planes of movement, with some up & down thrown in for fun! 6 moves ... rock them out for 40 seconds each, with 20 seconds rest before going to the next move. Repeat this Circuit 3-5 times for an epic workout!

What is a Stretch & Strength Workout?

Imagine a workout that combines strength, flexibility, and core stability into one efficient session. Our Stretch & Strength workout does just that! It features:

✅ Pulsing Lunges (Right & Left): Enhance leg strength and endurance while maintaining a steady rhythm.

✅ Downward Dog: Stretch and strengthen your upper body and core.

✅ Plank: Build core stability and overall strength.

This workout follows the Tabata format – 20 seconds of activity followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated 4 times. It’s quick, effective, and perfect for an end-of-week routine!

This week’s workout features three classic moves: squats, push-ups, and sit-ups. Simple, but oh-so-effective! Here’s the breakdown:

🏋️‍♀️ The Moves:

Squats: 6 reps
Push-Ups: 6 reps
Sit-Ups: 6 reps

🌪 The Challenge: How many rounds can your clients crush? 5 rounds? 10 rounds? 20 rounds? Each minute, they’ll start again with 6 squats, 6 push-ups, and 6 sit-ups. It’s a test of endurance, strength, and sheer willpower! 💥

This week's White Label Exercise Explainer is all about shaking things up with a twist on the classic reverse lunge - we’re adding in a SLIDING element to really kick things up! 💪 We’re all about embracing the new this week… and this move will fire up your client’s routines in a whole new way!

How to do the SLIDING LUNGE:

✔️ Setup: Grab a pair of sliders – plastic plates, dish towels, you name it! Place one under each foot and alternate legs, or for a slight modification, just use 1 slider under 1 foot, and complete all reps on the 1 side before doing the other.

✔️Starting Position: Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart and your hands on your hips or by your sides.

✔️ Ex*****on: Step back with one foot, lowering your body until both knees are bent at a 90-degree angle. Keep your front knee aligned with your ankle and your chest lifted.

✔️ Return: Push through the heel of your front foot to return to the starting position. Repeat on the other side.

One of the most important things to do in a lifting workout, is to STRETCH!

By loosening up those tight spots, you're not only improving your range of motion but also paving the way for smoother, more efficient lifts.

Stretching improves flexibility, enhances your mind-muscle connection, boosts circulation, and reduces post-workout soreness.

It is super KEY to include stretching along with your lifting, and especially with client’s lifting!

🌟 It's time for another White Label Exercise Explainer of the Week! 🌟 Following our theme this week of Flexibility, we're stretching & strengthening with the "Downdog to Spider Lunge"! 🧘‍♀️💪
How to do the Downdog to Spider Lunge:
✔️ Start in a high plank position with your hands directly under your shoulders.

✔️ Press back into a downward-facing dog by lifting your hips towards the ceiling and pressing your heels towards the floor.

✔️ From the downdog position, step your right foot forward towards the outside of your right hand, bringing your knee close to your right shoulder.

✔️ Keep your left leg straight and strong, with your heel lifted.

✔️ Hold the spider lunge for a moment, feeling the stretch in your hips and inner thigh.

✔️ Return to the downdog position and repeat on the other side.

So excited!! I haven't hosted a challenge in FOREVER!! Oooooo ... It is TIME to ROCK out my biggest - bestest - challenge EVER!!

I am challenging YOU to Finish 2020 STRONG - both physically & mentally.

So much CRAZY has gone down this year - so much that has been out of our control. This challenge is all about TAKING BACK CONTROL - of our health, our sanity, our awesomeness.

I'm looking for 20 women to team up together with me - for 10 weeks - between Thanksgiving and Christmas (Oct 13-Dec 20). We’re going to work together to CLAIM BACK control. Claim our STRENGTH (both physically AND mentally!). Claim our CONFIDENCE. Claim our AWESOMENESS!
