This is a brief scene aboard preserved Kelvin Scottish Routemaster RM910 at the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust's open weekend when it was operating one of the shuttle journeys between the GVVT's Bridgeton Bus Garage and the Riverside Museum. Listen to the sound of its AEC engine and transmission as it pulls out of Cathedral Square into Castle Street and then turns towards Cathedral Street and the city centre. It was filmed yesterday afternoon.

Tight squeeze for a tour bus
Reader Paul Llewellyn has shared this video with us, showing an MCI tour bus in the United States squeezing into Needle's Eye Tunnel at Custer, South Dakota. The operator, Stagecoach West, is no relation of any British public transport operator with a similar name. The tunnel is 8ft 4in wide and 12ft high, which leaves very little space for this big beast to get through. We hope the driver was on a one-way loop and didn't have to tackle it again from the opposite direction.
