With the conversation of late buzzing about the topics of building bridges and creating an ecosystem within the Music City for “urban” music with the emphasis on hip-hop – the Black Sheep’s Society Ent @blacksheepssocietyent has decided to blend two worlds into one – Singer-Songwriter and Hip-Hop.
August 28, at the notable East Room @theeastroom on Gallatin Road – there will be one band playing four sounds of music: Experimental Hip-hop, Country-Pop Soul, Conscious Alternative Hip-hop, and Blues R&B.
Namir Blade @NamirBlade of Mello Music Group @mellomusicgroup and featured on NPR’s “Tiny Desk” as well as the local fan-favorite and name behind the “Live L.O.S.T.” brand – Sedrick “SeddyMac” McClean @SeddyMac.
Kara Frazier @KaraFrazier_ managed by the local @agdentco is a bluesy singer-songwriter.
Aspyn Taylor @Aspyn_Taylor is a new transplant to Nashville, who has quickly found her footing in the bustling Music City scene with Country-Pop.
With these four creatives banning together to form one sound – the hope would be that this will be the first “big bang” of the NEW Music City.
