Three-year-long crisis? Newfound identity? What’s your story?
Folks have told Keep Fighting that they would have been dead after what the publisher has experienced, so they have wondered about their own resiliency. And thus, how systems react to disturbance. That's because in just five weeks, the publisher’s ** was granted full custody of his children by a judge in the most conservative county (Utah County) in the United States; leadership was cited for having an invalid driver's license as a result of the Utah Department of Motor Vehicles' fax machine simply not working, requiring also a tow of their vehicle that brought my finances down to just $220; he has had to represent itself, even citing detailed state legal code; and an attorney who finally did unbundled services, which would have made it affordable for the publisher, just happened to work across the hall from the opposing lawyer. Compounding circumstances meant that the publisher all of a sudden found himself in third-world circumstances in a first-world country.
These occurrences happened after the publisher had achieved cult recovery, moved past their parents not calling them their son anymore and his ** leaving him just two-and-a-half weeks after leaving the Latter-day Saint (Mormon) church. The experiences go back three years.
As resilience means a lot to Keep Fighting, we want to tell stories about it.
