NEWS RELEASE LONDON, UK — August 6, 2013 — DIRTY WEEKEND, a new comedy/thriller will have its North American Premiere with three screenings at the Montreal World Film Festival, which runs from August 22nd to September 2nd. The film marks the directorial debut of Christopher Granier-Deferre, son of actress Susan Hampshire and the renowned French director Pierre Granier-Deferre. It is produced by Canadian Catherine Vetere. DIRTY WEEKEND SYNOPSIS: Two reckless lovers, TRISH (newcomer Kirsty Oswald) and Mike (Jamie Parker from THE HISTORY BOYS and VALKYRIE) leave for a romantic weekend in France but find themselves sharing their love nest with a dangerous, fugitive killer VINCENT, played by Pierre Perrier (THE RETURNED) who has a bag full of cash and is determined to kill them both to protect it. It’s going to be a long weekend... DIRTY WEEKEND is a UK/French Co-Production
