snip snip i did a thing 🫣😅 while it was really not my initial intention to do this, one thing led to another & well here we are 🙃 I LOVE short hair & I also LOVE long hair & YES I still plan on growing it out as long as i can (one day 🙏🏼) but for now, I have decided to spontaneously end the year rocking the short hair ☺️ more details on this cut later, it’s going to be a huge learning curve styling it (& some days embracing it) I’m excited to have you all join me as I document the good & the not so good days 🙃 (because we all have them)

I left so many of you shocked in my stories yesterday 🫣 remember it WILL grow back 😅

p.s. I brushed out my hair after coming home from the salon because it was so soft & I was dying to see the shape this way 😍 AND hubby loves it especially since he knows it takes so much for me to go outside my comfort zone for things like this.

It was definitely not fun being sick for what felt like forever (we’re much better now 🙏🏼), but I promise once I gathered up the energy to wash this hair, I felt like a new woman 😮‍💨

7 months! That’s how long it’s been since my last trim 🫣😮‍💨🥴 Don’t coke for me 😅 I’m my defense the year is literally FLYING 😬 I finally ‘trimmed’ my hair and it feels so short…I mean good! 🫣😅😜

missing my longer hair 🫣 no surprise there 🤨 after almost 2 years of zero trims 🥹 I gave my self a much needed cut and instantly regretted it 😭 it’s like I never let my hair grow past a certain length 🤨 but not this time 🤚 I’ve vowed to keep my trims up to date and will continue to do the things that allow my curls to grow and flourish. I always say health over length but I also believe that you can definitely achieve long healthy curls. So, I’ve put my scissors away and will be going for an actual professional trim at the salon and keeping up with those as well. 🤞
