Should you use a randomizer to hit the perfect frequencies?

In general, no.

Player pools tend to be big, so you won’t play enough hands with someone for them to figure out your frequencies. Only in smaller pools it may be worth it, to make sure you keep your frequencies in check.

But people don’t play optimal strategies.

So there is always information that you can use to differ from GTO and increase your winrate. But to be able to do so, you need to understand WHY gto wants to take certain lines.

But understanding GTO can be tough, that’s why we added a hand-review topic in our discord where we can help you with that!

A common leak in the big blind is to not check/raise enough vs c-bets of late position opens.

Their opening range is very wide and so is their c-betting range, this allows you to check/raise aggressively and actually in reality more than GTO suggests very often as people tend to c-bet too often and not defend enough vs raises.

Incorporating a good x/r strategy, will drastically improve your BB winrate!
