Santa Claus is coming to town! 🎅🏻

🚨The Winter Garden Fire Rescue annual “Santa Run” brings Santa and his sleigh through City of Winter Garden neighborhoods. The moving parade takes place between 5:45-9:00 pm each night as Santa, along with his elves (firefighter, police, and city helpers), spread holiday cheer, music, and treats along the way.

* Santa rides 12/9 - 12/14. Due to safety concerns, please refrain from parking on the street during your neighborhood’s Santa Run. Street parking, especially parking on both sides of street, may prohibit the parade from going down a street.

🚗✨ Throwback to 1965! This charming building on West Plant Street has quite a history!

In 1922, Hoyle Pounds and M.Y. McMillan ran a garage here, assembling Model T Fords at a rate of one a day for just $500! 🚙💨 After buying out McMillan, Pounds constructed a new two-story building in 1926 at the corner of Plant Street and Lakeview Avenue, which still stands today.

Fast forward to this snapshot in '65—check out Ruby Adams' Plant Street Restaurant and the Mode O'Day Frock Shop, owned by Eva A. Wilson. 🥗👗 You can also spot The Bray Hardware store, which was managed by Arthur Goff at the time.

Today, this historic site has transformed into Urban Flats, with a path leading to exciting new businesses, including Axum Coffee. ☕️✨ What’s your favorite memory of this area?
