The program is running in during April. The following online training seminars are organized free of charge for primary, secondary, high school and technical students from 5 to 23 April 2021. The seminars are part of the All Digital European Week with a slogan “Be a digital hero”.

The program is running in during April. The following online training seminars are organized free of charge for primary, secondary, high school and technical students from 5 to 23 April 2021. The seminars are part of the All Digital European Week with a slogan “Be a digital hero”. Each teacher can register his class in the following seminars about coding, gaming, space earth observation:

1. Learn code - Become a superhero: For Students 1st-6th Grade Elementary School
2. Design your own digital game: For Students 4th-6th Grade Elementary School
3. "SOFIA" Space Technologies & Remote Sensing: For Secondary & High & Technical School

CyRIC and the Eratosthenes Centre-of Excellence through the SOFIA project support Coding Our Future. The aim of this project is to promote education and outreach in earth surveillance and space-related topics in Cyprus secondary schools. Students are introduced to Earth Observation satellite programmes and remote sensing techniques via the delivery of presentations and training workshops. The Sofia project is funded by ESA - European Space Agency PECS CY.
