Hello everyone,

Summer is gone, we are a year older and yet a little more stupid. We want to honour this state of mind with some new music to soothe the melancholy and help us flow downstream.

"What Is a River?" is a sixteen-minute long instrumental piece for strings that we have just released under our alternative moniker "Pieces Of Northwest", inspired by our many travels across the continent, jumping off a number of borders, bridges and mountains, watching rivers grow from their source to their end, wondering if this ever made any sense.

The boy jumping over the unknown is Ignacio's father and the picture was taken by his late grandfather in the fifties. Actually he wasn't really jumping over the unknown, but upon a sandy beach in Gijón. Or was he?

"Nuestras vidas son los ríos que van a dar en la mar, etc, etc, etc..."

We are going on tour in a few weeks!!

From May 18th until June 2nd we are going to be wandering all over Europe and bringing our music to a handful of cities in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Hungary, Serbia and Slovenia.

We are thrilled to go back to places we've been to many times and where we feel at home, like Warsaw or Bratislava or cities we had the chance to play in for the irst time last year, like Milevsko. Also we are really excited to play in cities we haven't visited since our first tours, like Novi Sad, Nitra and Vilnius. A bunch of promising new cities like Belgrade, Kroměříž, Česke Budejovice and Banska Bystrica are on our way too!
Lastly, we'll play for the first time in Hungary and Slovenia and couldn't feel happier about it.

Last year's tour was a very intense one, after a few years of forced stop, and we are hoping this year's will be at least as fulfilling and rewarding to us as the former.

A very special thanks to Alex Kelman, of Noise Me, for putting out such a wonderful tour, and to all the local promoters that are making all this real. There's a lot of hard work behind this that's frequently overlooked and we deeply appreciate it.

We'll keep posting info about all these gigs. Hope to meet you all on the road!
