Emily Swank (ne Crenhsaw) originally from the Detroit area began working in digital video in 1999 after video as a medium while studying Art at Colorado College. Starting with stop motion animation and experimental films she discovered her passion for expression through the visual medium and couldn’t stop creating. After doing some world travel, Emily landed in Denver, Colorado and made it home. I

n 2006 she teamed up with artist Mary Grace Legg and together they self taught video production with scrappy and creative drive to make art. This eventually morphed into a small video business better known as LockerPartners. Together this power dup made herstory as the goto video company for small business and artists who needed affordable video web content in Denver. From 2006 - 2017 LP explored a variety of filmmaking styles; music video, comedy, events, short documentary, weddings, fundraising, promotional, creative and branded content. The duo worked on projects directly with internal marketing teams for clients including but not limited to Denver Public Library, Goodwill, Girls Inc, Visit Denver, Denver Art Museum, Boys and Girls Club, Mercy Housing, Rally Software, Colorado State University, Colorado College and many more. In late 2017 Emily launched her solo projects under Fannypack Films working closely with Dirtybird Records to create their branded video content. The FF brand is the next chapter in the video works of Emily Swank. In this phase Emily is looking to collaborate more with other filmmaking artists and working with music brands and creative entrepreneurs. Emily strives to create video that’s not pushy and markets itself through authenticity. This new chapter is about exploring new relationships and bringing back ART taking RISKS. And above all, laughter and people are guiding this fannypack wearing videomaker as she hops between her hub cities Denver , Detroit and Los Angeles.
