Unstuffed Cabbage!! 1 1/2 to 2 pounds ground turkey or lean beef 1 tablespoon oil 1 large onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1 small cabbage, chopped 2 cans (14.5 ounces each) diced tomatoes (low sodium or no salt added) 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce (no sodium or no salt added) 1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 teaspoon sea salt 1 tsp oregano In a 12" skillet, brown beef or turkey on medium high heat. Stir in chopped onions and cook until onions are translucent and meat is cooked through. Add garlic cook additional 1-2 minutes. Drain and discard grease. Add cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, and spices and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover for 30 minutes. Simmer until cabbage is tender. I haven't worked out at any high intensity for a while and let's just say I was sucking wind tonight!! I stopped for breathers here and there but I jumped back in and finished!! Day #1/90 done! 👊🏼
