I’ve talked to SO many women lately who are struggling with so many things.

Discussions about not feeling like enough, feeling sad or angry at times for no reason and just basically the feeling of being exhausted and overwhelmed.

I have found that normalizing these struggles seems to help. Knowing that so many of us are going through the same exact thing makes us feel like we are not alone.

So, on this beautiful Sunday afternoon I share with you these things.

📣I snuck out of my house last week, turned off my phone and drove to a random park and just sat in my car and cried for 30 minutes.

📣Most nights I have to sleep with an ice pack somewhere on my body because when I am stressed out I itch myself until I bleed.

📣For some reason the past 6 months or so my sweat smells like a disgusting teen boy after I work out. 🤣

📣I spend way too much time worrying about the future that it affecting my present.

Whatever you are going through right now….you are not alone. ❤️

Our lives our constantly changing...constantly shifting.

It I were to write a chapter in a book for women in their 40's-50's I would say this.....

Brace yourself.....this chapter is going to be tough. No matter how strong you think you are....you are going to be challenged. A lot of you will be parenting teens, and that in itself is hard. Trying to guide them and keep them safe, while making sure they are on the right path.

Unfortunately, while you are focusing on the parenting aspect during this stage, you will be going through another change. There will be LOSS during this time for you. LOSS that is unfathomable. Loss that will make you lose your breath most days and make you wonder how you are supposed to go on.

When you think that it can't get any worse a little thing called menopause...or at least peri menopause sets in. Mood swings, lack of sleeping and pretty much emotional distress will take place in an already horrible situation.

You will find yourself wondering if you are crying about your mean teen, deceased loved one or the fact that your chin hairs grow at least 2 inches per night.

This chapter will make you sad. This chapter will make you feel like you can't go on. Realizing that this setback...is just a SETUP for something more is what you need to focus on. You will get through this!

I am along side you during this journey. I hear you, I see you and I am praying for you.
