“Throughout the years many artists I respect have just sent me remixes of my Red Series out the blue, none were asked for and many came as a big surprise with a lovely message attached and no expectations from the sender.
Rewind a few years back (perhaps 3) and Umek sent me this Remix which I have of course have been playing since I downloaded it, so it is with pleasure that Skint have finally released it digitally (it is on a twelve in my Box set from last month), sad not to have a "secret" weapon anymore but very glad you can now play it.

'Storm' on the flip is also available and was the very first remix that Surgeon did.

"Those of you that have been following me for a while would already have seen Red 1 come out digitally (including a masterful reworking by Mark Broom) most of you would have realised that this would not be a one off, so allow me to expand a bit.
Today for the first time the remasters of Red 2 ("Wisdom to the Wise" and "Gonk" ) are coming out digitally as well, so please enjoy..... but this is a precursor to Red 3 coming along soon and ...... yes..... finally Archive One.
I am happy to say that on the 30th anniversary of it coming out it will arrive in remastered glory in a stunning box set on vinyl, with a cool booklet, sleeve notes by myself, cool photos by Rankin, Martyn Goodacre and Bastiaan Woudt and some other extras you can find out about nearer the time..."
